But after a day or two, the renewal is removed and I switch over to the US manually. Well since that's something complicated, they have to escalate that to the higher ups. So I ask them to cancel auto-renewal, and I'll sign over myself. They can't do that while auto-renewal is on.

US support cannot help, since my account is in EU.īack to EU support, I ask them to sign me back over to the US, so I can turn off the auto-renewal and see whether I can refund the game so I can buy it in EU. Turns out my US based subscription was left in place when switching to the EU, and I no longer have the rights to change anything about my US subscription. All I run into is error messages when trying to do that from my account or the switch eshop directly. I know there's no funds, so I check the auto renewal. While trying to switch my region back to the US, I encounter the message, that I cannot switch over while my account has funds on it or an active auto-renewal. But the US support will only help you if your account country is set in North America. Unfortunately, this was a purchase when my account was in the US, so of course, only the US support can help me. So I asked the support to help me refund my US copy of FFCC, in order to purchase the EU version of FFCC. Despite the game only having a literal online player base in the 10s of players, there are separate servers running those games. No, unfortunately FFCC EU and FFCC US are considered completely different games according to the eShops. The support there stated that they can see that I purchased the game and I must have merely logged into the eShop with the wrong account. So i contacted Nintendo US again, who mentioned since my account was in EU, they no longer can assist me. Which blatantly stated I'd have to pay another 29.99€ in order to play it. All other 40 games I own migrated to the EU just fine, not FFCC. So I uninstalled the game, went to the eShop and the game was not purchased. Looking at the game, I immediately noticed I was still playing the US version. Not when you're dealing with FFCC though. If this were any other story, you'd be pretty much done by now.

They also helpfully told me, that I may need to redownload the game from EU servers in order to play with my friend. Support was able to help me and I was switched over to the EU within a day. So I contacted support, as there was nothing on the store to spend my remaining 0.02$ on in order to get all funds out of the account. In order to switch over, you cannot have an active online subscription or any funds remaining on your account. However in the US, this option does not exist. So in order to switch over, I spent the remaining 35$ on my account and go check for the option to switch over to EU. When you're situated in the EU, upon trying to switch, there's a notification prompting you that switching will forfeit the remaining funds on your account. Since you cannot use an EU credit card on US accounts, I purchase everything with Nintendo eShop currency. I figured it may have something to do with my account being set in the US, and his in the EU.
#Dissidia undub patch full
After some troubleshooting, I figured possible it's due to him only running the demo version of FFCC, so he purchased the full game. So I purchased the game for $29.99, we set a time to play together, we tried to add each other as ingame friends. So when recently a friend asked me to relive those memories by playing together on the Switch, I was delighted. I used to play Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles ( FFCC) on the Gamecube.
